Visakhapatnam: The startup community in Andhra Pradesh is excited over the imminent opportunity to accelerate their units by showcasing their success in the innovative world of out of the box ventures in the United States during the second visit of the Startup Runway delegation to the Innovation Valley here on Friday.
An interactive session is being held by the Startup Runway in association with Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society (APIS), Startup Andhra Pradesh with National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) as the ecosystem partner.
Startup Runway delegation along with officials and representatives from Richardson City, Texas, USA, to the AP Innovation Valley, Visakhapatnam, will see an interactive session on July 19. This visit promises to be another milestone event as the startup leaders will have lively chats over high tea, APIS CEO Anil Kumar Tentu, told Bizz Buzz on Wednesday.
During their first visit to the City of Destiny early this year, the startup community had the opportunity to interact face-to-face on a diverse range of issues showcasing cutting-edge solutions across various domains and industries. This has led to meaningful connections, fostering potential collaborations and partnerships that have borne remarkable progress.
Anil Kumar said the first visit paved the way for 30 startups to engage in detailed discussions and pitch sessions regarding product market fit and expansion, 10 startups’ advanced stage interactions with the leadership team regarding partnership and collaboration and two startups’ ongoing onboarding discussions for a global launch, with signed agreements as a result of the event. He said the outcomes of the first visit have been phenomenal, leading to significant milestones for the incubated startups. “As we prepare for the upcoming delegation visit, we are excited about the potential for further innovation and growth,” he said, adding Startup Runway had expressed gratitude to APIS for its continued support and partnership. Together, look forward to fostering more collaborations, driving innovation, and sharing further updates on the collective progress, he added.
